STAGE TAI CHI « Étudier la défaite »
TAI CHI WORKSHOP Studying Defeat II 26-27 October 2024 At the mountain house, Razeceuillé, 31160. France (Train from Toulouse to Saint Gaudens) 120 Euros Tuition. (12 hours over two days) 120 Euros Food and Dormitory Lodging. Maximum 8 people. To continue and build on the Stroud workshop held in May 2024, Dorian will propose four three hour sessions spread over the two days. The idea being to first review then correct and develop the exercises learned in Stroud. We shall continue to evolve and deepen the practice of sensing hands. We will keep the same format of study by first reviewing the Tam Gibbs practice method and then add on different exercises to focus on particular components that are valuable to improve our understanding of the art of partner work. Each “focus” exercise will be explained in detail and Dorian will help students to get a better access to the fundamental principals that should be always at the center of our study; Central Equilibrium, Correct Rooting and Listening. How and when to root, yield or deflect incoming force. You may attend this course if you have completed the empty hand form and are relatively fluent in the Cheng Man Ching sensing hand form. If you have any questions about the course content or your ability to attend please ask. The total fee for tuition, food and lodging is 240 Euros, a 140 Euros Paypal deposit will be required before the 8th of July should you wish secure a place on this workshop, this deposit will be refundable until August 30th and a waiting list will be opened when the workshop is full. Special dietary needs should be communicated at the booking stage to ensure that we can provide the best food for all attending. A list of local and inexpensive alternative accommodation will be provided for those who prefer to have their own sleeping space. There will be no reduction to the workshop fee if you use use alternative accommodation. We can pick up and drop you back at Toulouse airport for a 30 Euro fee on condition that the timing corresponds to our schedule (please consider grouping your travel to arrive with other attendants. We can also pick you up and/or drop you back to the local train station in Saint Gaudens which is 20 minutes away from the venue.

Pour poursuivre et développer le stage de mai 2024 en Anglettere, Dorian proposera quatre sessions de trois heures réparties sur deux jours. L’idée étant de d’abord revoir puis corriger et développer les exercices appris lors du dernier stage.
Nous continuerons à évoluer et à approfondir la pratique des mains sensibles, conservant la méthode de pratique de Tam Gibbs, puis en ajoutant différents exercices pour nous concentrer sur des éléments particuliers qui sont précieux pour améliorer notre compréhension de l’art de la pratique avec partenaire.
Chaque exercice sera expliqué en détail pour mieux accéder aux principes fondamentaux qui devraient toujours être au centre de notre étude : Equilibre central, l’enracinement correct et l’écoute. Comment et quand s’enraciner, céder ou dévier la force entrante.
Vous pouvez suivre ce stage si vous conaissez déjà la forme 37 pas de Cheng Man Ching et que vous maîtrisez relativement bien la pratique des mains sensibles. Si vous avez des questions sur le contenu du stage ou sur votre capacité à y assister, n’hésitez pas à les poser.
Le montant total des frais d’enseignement, de nourriture et d’hébergement est de 240 euros, un dépôt de 140 euros vous sera demandé avant fin juillet si vous souhaitez garantir une place à cet atelier, ce dépôt sera remboursable jusqu’au fin août et une liste d’attente sera établie. ouvert lorsque l’atelier est complet.

Une liste d’hébergements alternatifs locaux et peu coûteux sera fournie à ceux qui préfèrent avoir leur propre espace de couchage. Il n’y aura aucune réduction sur les frais de l’atelier si vous utilisez un hébergement alternatif.
